iTunes University
I discovered iTunes University last year. I had downloaded three courses that looked interesting to me then, but after the video teaching time, it was fun to redig into the itunes library again. This time I used the tricks they showed like power search and scrolling to the bottom to see what was offered for courses/lectures. I liked when they had a video to go with the science topics I was researching.
I liked the ways that the topic was presented in the short movie clips. They make it seems simple, even when I know that to show others about it, would take a step by step process. The best part, you can decide if it is for you without having someone slowly lecture.
I also got side tracked on matching apps. Hmm...when they put everything on one page, it makes you look everything over.
As I listen to the recordings or video (which I liked better), I liked the applity to stop the lecture and go search for the app it suggested. The Chemistry app, Chem IQ, Think Fast, and Audio note were great. My favorite one was Audio note where you can record a child reading, and take notes at the same time. It also puts a time clock on it. The word game lecture brought my family to watch and tell me what they liked. That was funny.
